With trepidation we took Belle and her new foal Da Vince out to the field for a few hours yesterday to enjoy the early spring sunshine - alas the grass has had too many shocks this winter to look appetising but I'm sure to chance to stretch his legs with Mum was just what he needed to work up another appetite!
Belle is avery concerned Mum at the moment and is keeping a strict eye on the everything the world and the universe and stuff...................
Today the weather had an icy chill in the air and so we dressed the little chap in a rug for his outing - by lunch time he was safely back in bed and Belle to put her hooves up metaphorically speaking for the rest of the afternoon with a good haynet

ReplyDeleteHe had his nose pressed aainst the door ready to go this morning and spent the day racing around with joy - I find it extraordinary for something so young to be so in command of the world and everything! Christne
